End of Summer Blues…and Reds, and Greens, and Yellows

Happy end of summer, South Charlotte!

It certainly has been a hot one, as you all know, and fortunately the activity around South Charlotte neighborhoods is just as hot.  To celebrate the close of summer and beginning of fall, we’re dedicating this issue to growth and renewal.  We encourage you to kick back and enjoy as we take a look at folks who are working hard in South Park and South End to offer residents a variety of quality options to get started making changes and improvements in their lives.

You won’t want to miss the fabulous home makeovers by Charlotte’s own award-winning interior design team, led by mother/daughter duo, Patrice and Elizabeth Hawkins, of Decorating Den.  The before and after pictures of their work serve as an undeniable testament to the value such a keen eye and committment to professionalism can add to any space.

If you’re looking for touch-ups in other areas – cosmetics, professional development, even cooking – we have that, too!  In this issue we talk with Steve Driben about tips for standing out in today’s competitve job market, we explore the array of beauty tips and services offered by Dr. Joy White, of the newly opened White Diamond Medical Spa, and we even stop by to talk with one of our favorite local chefs, Robert “Ernie” Adler, to pick up some tips on outdoor grilling.

So pour yourself an ice-cold glass of lemonade, grab your favorite outdoor seat, and catch those last few rays of summer with us.  We’re so glad to have you with us in this season of change!
