It’s finally everyone’s favorite season: summer.
Now, that may seem a bold statement, but in Charlotte it simply has to be true. It’s the season of fireflies and lake days, of sprinklers and sunshine, of long days and warm nights. It’s the season when our city sings with the sounds crickets and fireworks and happily squealing kids. And it’s the one season when calories from ice cream simply don’t count.
This issue is all about how to enjoy the summertime, whether from the comfort of your own patio, out on the town, or even above the Mason Dixon up in the Pacific Northwest. Regardless of where you choose to spend it, we hope yours is rich with the myriad joys of the season.
