Jazz-Focused Music Venue Opens in Uptown

In late October, Middle C Jazz, a new music venue serving up jazz, cocktails and a wide variety of flavorful small plates, opened its doors in Uptown Charlotte. It’s located at 300 South Brevard St. and features a 200-seat venue space, two patio areas and an adjoining full-service restaurant. When it comes to experiencing jazz at Middle C, they offer individual show ticket sales and annual memberships. The Play That Goes Wrong Live at the Knight Theater

The Play That Goes Wrong, a classic murder mystery that offers fun and entertainment for the whole family, will be live at the Knight Theater from Nov. 19 to Dec. 1. The award-winning comedy show has been described as “a gut-busting hit” by The New York Times and “the funniest play Broadway has ever seen” by HuffPost. Once On This Island Comes to Charlotte

Once On This Island is a musical about the tale of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl in search of her place in the world and ready to risk it all for love. Guided by the mighty island gods, Ti Moune sets out on a remarkable journey to reunite with the man who has captured her heart. Th musical was the winner of the 2018 Tony Award for “Best Revival of a Musical” and is directed by two-time Tony Award-nominated director Michael Arden. The theatrical production will be showcased live at the Belk Theater Nov. 12-17. There will be matinee and evening showings available. Charlotte Auto Show

The Charlotte Auto Show will take place Nov. 21-24 at the Charlotte Convention Center.The show will display more than 300 new vehicles from more than 30 manufacturers. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience all the newest technology and even take a test drive. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
