Speedway Christmas is an annual celebration that starts in late November and lasts until early January. It features a drive-through light show that has more than 3.5 million lights and several interactive Christmas displays that correspond with music, a family-friendly Christmas village, a Ferris wheel, photos with Santa, fire pits designed for roasting s’mores, fun games, delicious food and more! This year, Speedway Christmas began Nov. 22 and will take place until Jan. 5, 2020. It is open seven days a week from 6-10 p.m., but the infield Christmas village is only open Thursday through Sunday evenings.Prices for Monday-Wednesday are $20 per car (maximum 10 people), $40 per van (maximum 36 people) and $140 per bus (maximum 57 people). Thursday and Sunday evenings are $25 per car, $50 per van and $175 bus. Friday and Saturday evening prices are $30 per car, $50 per van and $175 bus.
Be A Lion Live at the Duke Energy Theater
The award-winning Broadway production, Be A Lion, will be performed live at the Duke Energy Theater from Dec. 5-14. Have you ever wondered what happened after Dorothy clicked her heels and found her way home in The Wizard of Oz? Be A Lion is a story of just that. It features 17 original songs, new and exciting Oz characters, as well as familiar characters. There will be matinee and evening shows available, with general admission tickets for $15 each. Charlotte Ballet Presents the Nutcracker
The Nutcracker is a Christmas story as timeless as Santa himself. The Charlotte Ballet will perform The Nutcracker from Dec. 6-23 at the Belk Theater, offering both matinee and evening shows. The onstage performance will be accompanied by the music of Tchaikovsky performed live by Charlotte Symphony. Tickets range from $25-$112 and can be purchased at BlumenthalArts.org.

Holiday Dazzle Event
Join Charlotte Dentistry for their Holiday Dazzle event Dec. 12 at 201 Providence Road, Charlotte.
