Charlotte Build, Remodel & Landscape Expo

The Charlotte Build, Remodel & Landscape Expo will be held from Jan. 10-12 at the Charlotte Convention Center. The three-day home show will bring together homeowners and the area’s leading building and remodeling experts. There will be seminars, exhibits, demonstrations and the opportunity to discover thousands of ways to remodel or design your home. 

Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week

Queen’s Feast is Charlotte’s premier biannual restaurant week. This January, it will take place from the 17-26. During this time, over 130 restaurants in and around the Charlotte metro area will offer 3-course meals at $30 or $35. Filled With Light: The Designs of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art’s “Filled with Light” exhibit remains on display until Monday, Jan. 27. The exhibit shares the design evolution of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. Visitors have the opportunity to see early designs for the museum, never-before-seen architectural sketches, drawings, study photographs and plans that illuminate the remarkable evolution of the building. Martin Luther King Jr. 2020 Holiday Parade

The City of Charlotte and Atrium Health will host the Martin Luther King Jr. 2020 Holiday Parade from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18. The parade will start at 9th Street and end at Stonewall Street. There will be more than 110 community organizations, marching bands and floats involved in this annual tradition. Ice Skating at the U.S. National Whitewater Center

Join the U.S. National Whitewater Center all month long for one of the most thrilling winter activities—ice skating! Their facility offers three different ice skating activities: skating on an ice trail, playing winter ice sports or free skating on 17,000 square feet of ice.
