Humane Society of Charlotte Launched Campaign for New Animal Center

In September, the Humane Society of Charlotte launched a $15 million fundraising campaign to support the construction of its new animal center. To celebrate the launch, a party was held at the Panthers Den in the Bank of America Stadium. Carolina Panthers coach, Ron Rivera, and his wife, Stephanie, will serve as honorary co-chairs of the fundraising campaign.

Shopping for a Cause

Apricot Lane Boutique at Stonecrest Shopping Center recently held their Shopping for a Cause event and donated proceeds from sales to KW Cares, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency financial assistance to members of the Keller Williams family. Cantina 1511, also located in Stonecrest Shopping Center, provided delicious Mexican cuisine at the event for shoppers to enjoy.

The Gray Classic

The Gray Classic is Charlotte's premier golf and networking weekend. It received support from notable businesses and civic leaders while participants gathered to raise funds during a business round table, its Signature Golf Tournament and Women's Empowerment Brunch. The Gray Classic's mission is to help young students to succeed through mentoring programs and networking opportunities.

This past summer, Mainstream Boutique teamed up with the nationally recognized natural hair care company Rucker Roots and South Charlotte Lifestyle to offer locals a luxury shopping experience. The event offered guests free valet parking, exclusive deals, complimentary drinks and giveaways.

Carmel Christian School Silver Anniversary Gala

Carmel Christian School celebrated 25 years of providing transformational education by hosting its Silver Anniversary Gala in May. The gala honored the past and celebrated the present, all while raising funds for the Carmel Education Foundation so they can continue to build the future.
