Attendees of the 6th Pink Pint Night, sponsored by Charlotte Radiology and NoDa Brewing Company, enjoyed live music, food trucks and a special pink brew, "Breast Intentions!” The event raised $45,000 to support local uninsured women in need of screening and diagnostic mammography services.
Komen Charlotte hosted its 21st Annual Race for the Cure, which brought nearly 15,000 people to uptown and raised over $1 million to support their mission to meet the most critical needs in our community and invest in research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
Carolina Panther and Houston native Fozzy Whittaker called on friends and teammates like Jonathan Stewart and Christian McCaffrey to join him in serving guests at The Cowfish. Donations raised will go directly to Sarah's House, Pearland Neighborhood Center and other Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston.

24 Foundation celebrated the 16th year of its signature fundraiser—24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute—with a record-breaking event, raising $1.73 million to help support cancer survivorship and patient navigation programs. More than $18.7 million has been raised since the event’s 2002 inception.
The Shining Hope Farms Invitational Horse Show was a huge success for 23 athletes with special needs from five counties. The athletes competed in dressage, showmanship and working trail classes while demonstrating their horseback riding skills for a large contingent of supporters.
The fundraising of 16 inspiring Charlotte business and community leaders culminated with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2017 Man & Woman of the Year Grand Finale. In just 10 weeks, this year’s class of candidates shattered records by raising $1,424,687 for LLS’s mission.
