The 17th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon, benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank, was sponsored by Food Lion Feeds and the CRVA. The event annually raises close to $100,000 to fight hunger. Guests receive a coupon book and a pottery bowl, which serves as a reminder that someone’s bowl is always empty.

11th Annual Lupus Mardi Gras Gala

Almost 250 folks donned Mardi Gras masks and evening wear to “help unmask lupus." This annual event raised more than $78,000 for the Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter (LFANC), totaling $671,000 to date.
